MAIMONIDES COLLEGE BACCALAUREATE PROGRAM
Maimonides College, a division of Maimonidies Schools
for Jewish Studies, offers undergraduate degree programs
with major concentrations in the field of Religious
Studies. The degree program requires the satisfactory
completion of 60 credits from among the departments
of Biblical Studies; Hebrew Language and Literature;
History; Philosophy; and Religion. The remaining 60
credits leave room for a minor concentration, or may
be selected from among courses rounding out a humanities
concentration.
GRADUATE-LEVEL JEWISH STUDIES FOR ADULT LEARNERS MISSION STATEMENT
Maimonides Schools offers a range of classes in Jewish
studies for adult learners. There will be three ten-week
quarters each year. Non-degree learners are welcome.
Classes may also be taken for graduate degrees.
The School welcomes learners from all backgrounds and
seeks to accommodate the competing commitments of adult
learners. Classes will be arranged at convenient times
for people with busy schedules. Coursework may be spread
out over as many years as required. Deadlines will be
flexible. Learners who take a class on a non-degree
basis and complete the class-work, will be given credit
retrospectively if they are subsequently admitted to
a degree program. Credit from classes taken at other
institutions may be transferred, subject to approval.
